We were really surprised to see Sakshi news paper dated 28.09.2009. The first 2 pages of the main page were full of advertisements. We thought those would be from companies’ congratulating the people and wishing them a happy dussera. But no, all those Ads were to wish a company called ‘Bharathi cements’ for successfully completing its first cement plant at Nallalingayapalli in Kadapa District of Andhra Pradesh.
ReplyDeleteGenerally, if any company wants to make its presence felt through news papers, it would use all the news papers, so we thought if something similar was also published in Eenadu. No, there was no such advertisement in Eenadu newspaper.
So we went on to dig some information about the company Bharathi cements and found some interesting facts.
First thing is that the name of the company is recently changed to Bharathi cement corporation from Raghuram cement.
Second thing is that it is owned by none other than the legend YSR’s son YS Jagan mohan Reddy (Now we know why only Sakshi paper published those Ads)
On March 27 2006, the Government issued a GO allotting 2037 acres of mining lease to the company and the following year, it was allotted another 487 acres. In the same year the construction was started and today, the first cement plant of Bharathi cement is completed.
It should be remembered that before the elections, Chandra babu naidu made huge allegations (which never went on to a distance of course) regarding corruption in the companies related to YS family. All those allegations were reeling around the then Raghu ramcements, Dalmia cements, India cements etc.
YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and his followers minted crores, while the common man was bought off with poorly funded welfare schemes.

and i used to watch him on Aastha channel regularly
But right from the lanch function of "Bharat Swabhiman Mission"
where Babaji had invited a Shia Muslim maulaavi
and introduced him as his darling brother
speeches of Babaji has lost its sharpness

ReplyDeleteAccording to latest reports, some of the partners of Jagan in the Jagati publications and cement industry like Matrix Prasad and Dalmias, are withdrawing their stakes from Jagan’s firms, after realising that the chances of he making it to the hot seat have become bleak. What is more, the ongoing Telangana agitation has further crippled his business activities; and if there is a bifurcation of the state, his chances in politics would take further beating.
On the other hand, his close friend Gali Janardhan Reddy is also not happy with the way things are turning out in Andhra Pradesh. With the Centre targeting his mining activity and Rosaiah government not extending any cooperation, Gali brothers have lost faith in Jagan’s ability to come his rescue. Gradually, he, too, might back out from Jagan’s firms, sources say.

Even Warren Buffet would be shamed by these figures. If Jagan has earned his money in a righteous manner, then he is a finacial wizard, one the world sees once in a decade. Jagan has greater future in Business. What is he doing in politics? He is a genius who should be studying in Harvard and giving speeches at World Economics Forum.

YSR was no doubt competent. We also heard during his time how much more competent his son was. Competence and Corruption is the most dangerous combination.
You want competent people?? You have Jayaprakash Narayan and Chandrababu who are intellectually and ethically more superior than Jagan at the very least.
Who can deny that Jagan doesn't lust for power??!! Well, it is okay to want to be CM. But one should prove one's worth and eligibility before that. Just after YSR, Jagan wanted to be CM.
And what about Sakshi - the worst thing that happened to Andhra Pradesh? I could see moral decadence with just this channel. The worst channel after Tv9.
How can people even speak in favour of Jagan?? Supporting Jagan because there is no better alternative is not correct. Realistically, however, we would vote for the better candidate. But this guy doesn't deserve so much attention and support as of he is a clean and perfect politician. He actually is a perfect politician. He knows well how to cheat and use some brains at that!

ReplyDeleteDont u dare comment on Chandra babu naidu, When he was a chief Minister the system was functioning very well and the only mistake he had done is that he could not concentrate on farmers, Obviously he was more focussed in creating jobs n he has created jobs, If he would have been made CM again then he would have sorted out Farmers problems as well who knows. He conducted lot of surprise checks in order to make sure that all the officials are doing their jobs properly... He is one of the best Cm's of Andhra Pradesh.
