Rape : Is media fighting for the solution or sensationalising it for its TRP?

The way media is showcasing Rapes , at times, i feel they are giving a cosmetic face lift. Are Rapes only crime women face?  Is media fighting for the solution or sensationalising it for its  own bemefit? For how long Media will instigate Gender conflict in the society ? 95% of Rapes in India , the perpetrators are father/relatives/neighbors etc .... only 5% are unknown persons. Thats one statistics . The other statistic ( though not recorded) says that most of the Rape cases are false alarms. When a woman get caught in pre-marital/extra-marital affair she raises false alarm of Rape to save herself. The fact is it was an consensual sex. The innocent man gets caught. Dimapur lynching episode is latest example of such consensual sex painted as rape .
