Save Temple fund raising in NewJersey

Temples in India are under Government control. Only 18% of revenue generated is given back to temples and 82% used at Governments discretion. Looting, massive sale of temple lands at throw away prices, demolition, illegal encroachments is occurring all over South India.

Funds are used for awareness campaigns. Kamal Kumar Swami of GHHF walked 3500 Kms (padayatra) visiting temples in hundreds of villages bringing awareness to more than a million people. It culminated at Tirupathi in Jan 2008 attended by 12,000 and was covered extensively in media. Currently he is on 2nd padayatra for 5000 Kms bringing awareness to 10 million, culminating at Tirupathi on Feb 16, 2009. Function at Tirupathi is expected to be attended by Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, Swami Dayananda Saraswati and other saints.
