ABVP Blood Donation drive for Telangana wins Red Cross Award

Akhil Bharateeya Vidyarthi Parishad popularly known as ABVP and all Telanganite'shas a reason to celebrate . ABVP Blood-Donation drive in Telangana was recognised by Red Cross . Andhra Pradesh  Governor Sri Narasimhan yesterday has awarded ABVP the Red Cross award on behalf of International  Red Cross Society at Raj Bhavan . ABVP State Jt Secretary Sri Yashpal Goud recived on behalf of ABVP .

On eve of Netaji Subhash Bose Jayanthi  January 23  Vidyarthi Parishad has taken a constuctive way to show their commitment for Telangana formation  by conducting  Blood Donation programe under "Na Raktham - Na Telangana " (My Blood - My Telangana) .  ABVP Blood Donation campaign also marked  the death anniversary of M.K Gandhi . On the way of ABVP's  fight for formation of  New Telangana State it had organised Blood Donation camps in all 10 districs of Telangana on Jan 30  and almost 19000 students gave their blood for the cause of Telangana State formation . ABVP drive "Na Raktham - Na Telangana " (My Blood - My Telangana) was thus applauded by many then. 

ABVP aimed for an World Guiness Record in Blood Donation , untill now no where such a massive blood was conducted on one single day .

 drives his wife to hire mafia to throw acid on Advaocate

Velluri Srinivas Reddy, an advocate demanded police action on Sunday against Vijayawada MP Lagadapati Rajagopal for allegedly masterminding an acid attack on him in 2008.

The advocate told reporters he was continuing to face life threat from Rajagopal and sought police protection. He stated that on May 13, 2008 around 1 p.m while he was in his office, four unidentified persons entered and threw acid on his face and fled. As a result of the attack, one side of his face and an eye were completely damaged.

Narayanapeta police registered a case and arrested the four guilty including one A Raghavendara.

Srinivas alleged the MP, his wife Padma and father-in-law P Upendra masterminded the attack. The advocate claimed that Raghavendara told him he executed the crime at the behest of Padma. Srinivas said Padma had developed a grudge against him after he introduced one Janaki Iyyer to her husband.

We salute and remember Sardar Vallab Bhai Patel and Indian Army for freeing Telangana from the attrocities of Razakars and Nizam. Kasim Razvi the MIM founder was the chief of Razakars and he was fully supported by Nizam. Nizam wanted to merge Telangana with Pakistan.

We also salute Comrade Ravi Narayana Reddy from Nalgonda and Arya Samajists , Hindu Mahasabha activists who bravely fought mighty Nizam. Irony is that not a single Seemandhra leader came for our rescue when Razakars were killing Telugu speaking people. Razakars committed genocide against telugu speaking people with the patronage of Nizam. Seemandhra leaders came later to loot the wealth of Nizam and Hyd. Even looting us for last 50 years their hunger for money has not diminished . Beware SeemaAndhra plutocrats the Lions of Telangana has arisen flee before you are hounded out . Now the time has come to give the clarion call of 'Quit Telangana' and kick out shameless greedy SeemaAndhraites from Telangana .
