Osmania Btech Student commit suicide for Telangana State

 Another OU student ends life over Telangana

Meegada Sai Kumar, a second year B-tech student of Osmania University, committed suicide in protest against the delay in creation of a separate Telangana.He is the third student to have committed suicide over the Telangana cause in the OU campus.The B-Tech student ended his life by hanging from a ceiling fan of his hostel using a clothesline.

Sai Kumar, a meritorious student from Kapugalla village in Kodada mandal of Nalgonda district and active member of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad ( ABVP ), also wrote a note saying that he was sacrificing his life for the cause of Telangana.

The friends immediately took him on a two-wheeler for medical help when the police rushed in and bundled Sai in an 108 ambulance and got him admitted to Gandhi Hospital where he was declared brought dead just after noon. Sai left behind a suicide note in Telugu, which stated that politicians should not be trusted and that the youth should take over the Telangana movement. He also wanted his body taken in a funeral procession to Gun Park near the state assembly.

In his suicide note Sai Kumar said  This is my final farewell to four crore Telangana people, I am sacrificing my life for Telangana. Political leaders are traitors and students should not believe them. Students should lead the moment and achieve separate Telangana state.”
