I felt, I should address this Feminism topic a bit more. I hate it as much I hate Socialism or Communism. Infantilism's are bad. I sincerely wish Hindu Women does not fall for such "misandry".

Do not precipitate of having a notion me taking sides or discriminating on gender topic. I always side with women forgetting what they did to me. I RESPECT the fairer sex as much I respect myself. If i hate any, then its Feminism preachers ( & also male chauvinists). As a Male , I reject Male chauvinism, equality can not be achieved by ghetto thinking of "us & them", it should be viewed as Human rights. One should understand that, Total equality does not exist anywhere in the world.

To survive one does not have to break traditionalism and inject ugliness in the name of activism or revolution, there would be a backlash for certain . Equality among men and women is OK but on what platforms , this can be debated. Let the women understand forever, MEN are powerful ANIMAL's . Equality on all fronts is just impossible. BTW why should we discuss EQUALITY among men & women ? Who are the givers and who are the takers among them ?? I feel one should have RESPECT for each other and it would solve all the gender problems.

There is lot of difference between a modern Man and Woman's greed . Man gets greedy to protect his Family from starvation and give them prosperous life. Where as Woman greed is too personal , most of the time she do it for her fame and success. For a Man, his Kids & Wife come first, for greedy woman its her Success & Fame . That what i was trying to say, gender EQUALITY is not possible on lot of platforms. Its good to acknowledge that Man & Woman are 2 different species, recognise their space and respect it.

My observation of fairer sex is women who are less emotional and more greedy for money, fame & better life, always choose a loser for life-partner. Maybe it has to do with their inflated Ego or they know the truth that they cant handle the real Man. All such greedy women have now taken to activism to seek the fame & attention. How would they who do not understand the importance of family will reform their own gender in the name of equality ?

Why dont they try and reform themselves instead of being divisive and disturb harmony among Men & Women in the name of Feminism ? Instead, should vouch for Egalitarianism and its basic tenets of harmonious equality without playing victimhood .

My Take :: Dear activists , you do not become stronger by constantly attacking men as villains. Do not exemplify men as less precious. Because you are a woman that does not automatically make you victim . Its high time you understand that you are pretty responsible for your actions. You as a Feminist harming women more than all men did to her since evolution. Gender equality by and large is possible provided we respect each others rights.

This Day in 1982 Kakatiya Univ Research Scholar ABVP activist Sama Jagan Mohan Reddy was killed by Naxalites in Hanumakonda. His crime was he protested when Naxalites on 26th January 1980 Republic Day tried to burn Indian National Flag . He fought with them seeing Tiranga being disrobed. With war cries of "Vande Mataram" & "Bharat Mata Ki Jai" he took over National Flag hoisted it back  on Kakatiya University Administrative building. This act of challenging them has angered the Naxalites, they way laid while he was coming from Dist Court and murdered him .

His Martyrdom has inspired many like me to join ABVP. Every time I remember the Martyrdom of this great patriot, I get emotional.

ఇది ఆర్‌.యస్‌.యు. వారికి కంటగింపైంది. ప్రధాన సాక్షిగా కోర్టుకు వెళ్ళి వస్తున్న పలు సందర్భాల్లో జగన్‌ను చంపుతామంటూ ఆర్‌.యస్‌.యు, పి.డబ్ల్యు.జి. వారు హెచ్చరికలు చేశారు. అయినా ఆయన లెక్క చేయలేదు. 29 ఏప్రిల్‌ 1982న జగన్‌ కోర్టుకు హాజరై రిక్షాలో తిరిగి వస్తూ నిత్యం రద్దీగా ఉండే హన్మకొండ హెడ్‌ పోస్టాఫీస్‌ దగ్గరకు చేరుకోగానే, అక్కడ మాటువేసిన నక్సల్స్‌ గుంపు ఒక్కసారిగా జగన్‌పై కత్తులతో విరుచుకుపడి విచక్షణారహితంగా పొడిచారు. జాతీయ జెండాను రక్షించినందుకు, అంబేద్కర్‌ రాసిన రాజ్యాంగాన్ని గౌరవించి గణతంత్ర దినోత్స వాన్ని నిర్వహించినందుకు జగన అమరుడయ్యాడు. సామా జగన్‌ వారసత్వాన్ని పుణికి పుచ్చుకొని, దేశాన్ని అవమానపరిచే శక్తులను తరిమికొట్టి, దేశ గౌరవాన్ని పెంచేందుకు పునరంకితం కావాలి.

Yug Purush Sri Bheemrao RamJi Ambedkar

Today is 125th Javanti of Yug-Purush Sri Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar. The man who gave us the Constitution and been instrumental in breaking orthodoxy as well as bringing reforms in Hindu Dharm. He has been always misunderstood by Upper Castes and down-looked by Intellectuals. His peaceful fight against Upper Caste hegemony is worth knowing and inspirational .

He was bribed by Christian missionaries and Muslim Maulvis to convert into their respective religion, but he denied those offers. Instead he chose Buddha Dharm which happens to be a offshoot of Hindu Dharm. If at all he had converted then to Abrahamic religion it would had a great impact on Harijan's and probably sounded a death knell to Hindu Dharma.

Having born in "Dora" family, I was an practical observer how Harijan's were mistreated by some of my family members. Even till 90's few relatives of mine never allowed  Harijan's to enter their house. Much worse dreadful treatment has been meted out to Harijan's by most of the Upper Caste families .

Iam ashamed and beg for forgiveness for being mute spectator to such horrible treatment by our tribe. Mere apologies wont do. Dedicating ourselves towards those downtrodden Harijan's through "Sewa" will help us to wash some of the sins our forefathers committed against them.

Do you know Ambedkar was never against Upper Castes , his wife was a Brahmin and his middle name is "Ramji", named after Hindu god Lord Ram. It is right time for us to acknowledge Sri Ambedkar Ji's huge contribution as reformist, freedom fighter and architect of Constitution.

I take this opportunity to pay tributes to great son of Bharat Mata .

Integral Education Part III Holistic development of Body,Mind & Soul.

Education system is now totally institutionalised. One of the major drawback of this corporatised system is that they merely  transmit  'book' knowledge to mind. Word to word are embossed on the memory, no special training is given to the mind to observe the Ultimate Truth.

In Bharat Varsh we do talk of imbibing 'values' into our education system. But manifestation of such 'values' are done by coercive way. We threaten the child that bad doing will result in bad "karmaphala" and God will punish you. We are forcing 'values' through fear and blackmail.

 Instead of training them to realise the fruits of ultimate truth of following 'values' , we bring in fear of punishment if not followed. Its new age , old unscientific ways will not work with the current Generation. We need to reinvent ourselves in bringing morals , spiritualism near to Science.

The current Generation is intrepid, fearless of God , fearless of "Karmaphala". It believes in questioning and seeing is believing for them. That is the one reason why most of the Youth do not believe in Karmaphala or God.

GenNext believes in Science rather than Spiritualism . Where does Science get such appeal ??? Its from Truth. The power of Science is verifiable Truth, which is the same all over Globe. Science is visible and thus gets more acceptance. It does not float on fear . Science is not on speculations. Youth acknowledges the benefits of Science has brought to the Humanity.

Spiritual Education has to come close to the science. For that it has to forego the path of fear and head on truth. Unlike Science Spiritual Education has vast role to play in changing the life of Humans. Science restricts itself to Mind , where as Spiritual Education trains on Body, Mind & Soul . That is what we call an Holistic development. Science and Spiritual values should compliment each other in making student a better Human Being.

Meet the RSS - Seva Bharati leader who changed fortunes of a Muslim village

Villagers in Jharkhand’s Hafua say he is a befitting example to contradict those who equate the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangha (RSS) with the terror group Islamic State and its leaders with terrorists.

His contributions towards the progress of the Muslim-dominated village and bringing its once crime-inclined youth into the mainstream dwarf those of several Muslim leaders, social workers and politicians. It is this selfless service over the past two decades that invariably makes the local youth respect him.

Meet Siddhi Nath Singh, RSS kshetriya sanchalak or the regional head for Bihar and Jharkhand and the chairperson of RSS’ social development wing, Rashtriya Seva Bharti. Singh, a resident of Jharkhand’s electricity hub Patratu in Ramgarh district, has been imparting free skill training and creating livelihoods for the youth of hundreds of villages across the country at his firm Kalpataru.
But what makes the engineer-turned-entrepreneur different from others is the devotion with which he remains involved in changing the lives of every youth in Hafua, with a population of approximately 1,000 people, around 70 km north of capital Ranchi.

Some two decades back, a mere mention of Hafua used to alert the police and intelligence agencies. Majority of those involved in bank robberies and snatching incidents in Ramgarh and Ranchi were traced to this village. Children did not go to school and elders never worked in the fields even though most of them had vast tracts of land in their names.
Men picked up fights with anyone over trifles and exerted their supremacy in the region.


It was during one of his sojourns to the village, while researching on storage of rain water, that 68-year-old Singh came across a few parents who were worried about the future of their teenage children.

“I met the youth and saw the spark in their eyes. They had everything barring education and proper guidance. I invited them to my engineering firm and trained them. Soon they were repairing heavy machines with ease,” Singh said while interacting with a fresh batch of boys from the village.
Over the last 15 years, Singh has provided skill training to no less than 150 Hafua men, who are now working across India and in the Gulf, earning handsome salaries. Their children now go to schools and the living standard of their families has also improved.

Afzal Ali, 38, trained as a welder with Singh’s firm and is now working with Adani Group in Gujarat earning a salary of Rs. 15,000 per month. Taslim Ansari, trained as a fitter, works with Hindalco in Renukoot.

Lauding them, Singh said, “Hafua boys are gifted. Give them a problem and they will solve it. I only routed their energy in the right direction.”

And in return they have nothing else, but, praise for Singh.
“Hafua residents do not have any criminal case for the last 10 years. We are now earning with dignity and living with pride,” said Zubair Ahmad, who has been working with the RSS leader’s firm for the last 12 years.

For Janisar Ansari, a class 10 student at Saraswati Vidya Mandir, Singh is like a god. “He is meeting all my expenses. I want to crack IIT and become the first engineer from my village,” he said.
Lal Mohammad Ansari, a landlord and whose five sons have been Singh’s students, said that he stands as an epitome of religious harmony at a time when some feel that the country has grown intolerant.

Relevance of coalition government's - 1

It is now being trotted out , very vociferously by the media and other entities of Political arena that the era of coalition governments has come to stay in our polity, where political parties swearing in the name of different ideologies while making a common cause in the name of 'Secularism' will take the center stage of governance hereafter.

It is also being made out that the walking in & out of such an arrangement of coalition by parties who identify themselves with the panacea of 'Secularism' now and then, being unable to pull together and yet supporting such a coalition either from inside or from outside.

In Juxtaposition to the said pattern of coalition, the political party which is branded as communal outfit and non-secular , which makes 'Hindutva' the chore of its political ideology, constitutes the other segment and which believes that as a cohesive unit it can offer a better alternative of governance and that a notch potch arrangements of a coalition with hate for 80% of populations religious beliefs can not ensure good governance much less stability.

In between , the Regional parties, some of whom, infact do not subscribe to any ideology as such, except Regionalism, have also come to occupy a prominent place in the political scenario .

It is also sought to be projected that the people of this country have deliberately given the mandate for a coalition keeping in view the heterogeneous state of things. At the outset there appears to be inherent contradiction if not a fallacy in the entire argument . There is a deliberate attempt by the vested interests to wean away the people from a definitive attitude by distorting the perspective.

The family of two Muslim sisters had decided to conduct marriage ceremony outside the village , thinking that their in-laws will not come to the village after the incident , but Hindu elders of the village convinced the family not to shift the venue.

Members of Hindu community even went to the grooms house to convince them to come to the village and continue the wedding ceremony as per scheduled date. The two daughter of Hakeem , a Muslim villager got married on sunday.

The family of Mohammad Aklaq who was lynched , maintained their statement on living in the village peacefully and with out any communal strife for years.

Women in Hindu Dharma - Part V. Importance of family system.

Male chauvinism and Feminism are both harmful for harmonious existence of family system . The art of Male & Female relationship should not be weighed under the equal rights nor on economic freedom of Women. Where as Mutual understanding , dignity and responsibility will alone save the gender conflict that we often see among newly wedded couples. Strengthen ones relationship with trust and reciprocate the feeling, this alone will save the family system.

Bharateeya women especially the younger ones are in dilemma whether to follow the fashionable inherently failing Western model or the subtle but silently succeeding Bharateeya model. Often, Women are carried away by vociferous advocated of womens Lib's, now find themselves at cross roads - whether to earn for Rights or earn Reverence , whether to be Liberated or to be Venerated.

The sacred bond of Man & Woman has come under considerable strain bringing its wake, several aberrations. Along with class conflict, caste prejudice, communal bigotry, we have gender war going on . There is male chauvinism, now encountered by female chauvinism.

The pious relationship has been subjected to an un-healthy debate verging on vulgarity, to say the least. involved. The Media and pseudo social reformers are having a hayday inciting one against the other with no personal stakes

Not all Women are innocent, Not all Men are violent. The Gender war is not in the interest of Family. The gender equality can be addressed through traditional family values prevalent to changes by the present social condition. Mother Nature has defined the roles for men & women, let abide by it with current societal changes. One has to remember that it’s the Family that holds the society, if family is tampered upon with brutal assault of gender liberation then there might not be any society nor any values. Let not our intelligence get clouded in Male or Female chauvinism. May good sense prevail and harmony in families flourish.

Integral Education Part IV: True education is about character building .

Man lives in various levels i.e., physical, mental, intellectual, moral and spiritual. True education should be aimed at developing all these levels simultaneously and harmoniously. The main essence should be to realise oneness .

Swami Vivekananda described education as " the manifestation of the perfection already in man) . In this one bewildering statement contains all we want to know about education.

What is perfection ? Is it the capacity to amass wealth, is it capacity to become and called as intellectual genius, is it capacity to dominate others amd make them tread our path ???

We normally think of excellence or perfection in terms of outshine others. But perfection is far more than this. True education should awaken the vital aspects so that one can become stronger and nobler. The most vital aspect of education is the building of a a strong character.

Vidya dadati vinayam,
vinaya dadati paatrataam,
paatratva dhanamaapnoti,
dhanaat dharmam tatatsukham.

from character one gets wealth,
from wealth one gets righteousness,
in righteousness there is joy.)

Nowadays there is a good deal of talk about 'values' and 'value education'. In India the terms 'values' is most commonly used in the sense of 'virtues' or 'morals'. Since morals are associated with religion, many educationists want to avoid the use of the terms moral and virtues and replace it with the word"value'.

The important point to note here is that any change in education becomes effective only if it is rooted in realisation of student. Simply introducing some 'values' into the curriculum and making students to learn it for exams will not be effective. Without an orientation, values will also remain nothing more than code of conduct which student might not follow in private life

In the first place values or virtue should not be followed out of fear or compulsion . Student must be made to understand that the path of virtue he has to take will make him an 'Ultimate Human Being'. When a student links values he learn to his true nature then his life becomes real and authentic. Value education should be inculcated in real life. If student fail to imbibe virtue to his own nature then entire exercise might end up as an mere show off to the expectations of others.

రంజాన్ మాసంలో నిజమైన ధనిక ముస్లింలు నిరుపేద ముస్లింలను ఇంటికి పిలిచి రకరకాల వంటకాలతో వారి ఆకలిని తీర్చి వారికి కూడా పండుగ అనుభూతిని కల్పించడం ఇఫ్తార్ విందుల సారాంశం అది ముస్లిం మత ఆచారం.

పొలిసు కమిషనర్ గారు వ్యక్తిగతంగా నిజమైన నిరుపేద ముస్లింలకు ఇఫ్తార్ విందు ఇచ్చివుంటే హర్షించేవారము కానీ హైదరాబాద్ నగర్ పొలిసు విభాగం ద్వార అధికారికంగా ఒక మతపరమైన కార్యక్రమాన్ని నిర్వహించడం ఎంతవరకు సమంజసం ? పొలిసు కమిషనర్ గారు రాజకీయ నాయకుల వలె ప్రవర్తించడం వ్యవస్థపై వున్న గౌరవానికి మచ్చ కాదా ? ప్రభుత్వ నిధుల నుండి ఈ రకంగా మతపరమైన విందులు ఇచ్చే అధికారం పొలిసు కమిషనర్ గారికి వుందా ? వుంటే మెజారిటీ ప్రజలైన హిందువులు జరుపుకొనే పండగలకు ఎందుకు కార్యక్రమాలు ఏర్పాటు చేయరు ?

నగరంలో ఎంతో ప్రతిష్టాత్మకంగా జరిగే బొనాలలొ కానీ గణేష్ ఉత్సవాలలో కానీ కాషాయపు టోపీ దరించి నుదిట కుంకుమ తిలకం పెట్టుకోవడానికి వీరికి అడ్డువచ్చే సెక్యులరిజం ఇప్పుడేమైంది ?

అన్ని మతాలను సమదృష్టితో చూడటమే నిజమైన సెక్యులరిజం అని చెబుతుంది మన రాజ్యాంగం ,మన రాజకీయ నాయకులు ఓట్ల వేటలో ఎప్పుడో దాని అర్థాన్ని మార్చివేశారు ,రాజ్యాంగ పరిరక్షణకై లాటీలు పట్టిన పోలీసులు నిజమైన స్పూర్తికి విరుద్దంగా ప్రవర్తిస్తే దేశం మరోసారి భారి మూల్యం చెల్లించుకోవాల్సి వస్తుంది . పౌర సమాజం కూడా నిర్భయంగా ఇలాంటి పోకడలను ప్రశ్నించాలి అప్పుడే ఎవరి హద్దుల్లో వారు వుంటారు.

Celestial beings in Hindu Dharm

((Mahadevas:))
Mahadevas are the main gods of Hinduism including their avatars. Lord Shiva is known as Mahadeva. All beings except the Mahadevas were created by Lord Brahma.

((Devas: ))
Devas are the good celestial beings similar to angels. They live in the kingdom of heaven which is ruled by Dheva Raja Indra. They are under the protection of the Mahadevas.

((Asuras: ))
Asuras are the wicked and rebellious celestial beings, similar to the Fallen Angels. They live under feudal rules of different Asura kings. They are sworn enemies of the Devas and tried several times to conquer the kingdom of heaven, but without success.

((Suras)):
Suras are chivalrous and warlike celestial beings. They are considered sons of the sun god Surya and embody the sunbeam. The king Rajendra Chola called once himself the brightest shining Sura of the Suryavamsa.

((Yakshas:))
Yakshas, are nature spirits and their king is the prosperity god Kubera. Yakshas can be divided between good and evil Yakshas. Evil Yakshas live on trees and attack people who wander in the forest.

((Nagas:))
Nagas are snake people and their king is the Nagaraja Vasuki. Nagas are sworn enemies of the Garudas.

((Garudas:))
The Garudas are eagle people. The mount of Lord Vishnu is a Garuda. Garuda and Naga culture is widespread in South Asia and Southeast Asia.

((Vanaras:))
The Vanaras are Monkey people. The most famous Vanara is the deity Hanuman. Vanaras living in Vana (forest) Kingdom.

((Rakshasas:))
Rakshasas are demons or ogres and embody the evil. They work with the Asuras against the Devas and humans. The Rakshasa power increase at night.

((Humans and Animals: ))
Humans and Animals are mortal beings living on earth. They are neutral nature.

((Matsyas:))
Matsyas are sea people and their king is the Samudra Raja Varuna. They are represented as half human and half fish.

((Pishachas:))
Pishachas, are Undead beings that feed on blood and flesh of mortal beings. Pisashas is used as a term for ghosts and vampires.

((Apsaras:))
Apsaras are beautiful celestial nymphs and talented dancers.

((Gandharvas:))
Gandharvas are heavenly beings and talented musicians. Gandharvas and Apsaras are responsible for the entertainment in the kingdom of heaven

Integral Education Part II - Does book guarentee wisdom ?

न चोरहार्यं न च राजहार्यं न भ्रातृभ्राज्यं न च भारकारि।
व्यये कृते वर्धत एव नित्यं विद्याधनं सर्वधनप्रधानम्॥

( Knowledge cannot be stolen by a thief.
It cannot taken away by a King.
It cannot be divided among brothers.
It does not cause load. It always increases when spent.
The wealth of knowledge is the greatest of all wealths. )

Knowledge can not be acquired by just reading Books.

It goes without saying that the teachers are the influential catalysts in the field of education. Life is note mere materialism , there is ultimate reality in us. To make student realise and manifest the inner reality should be the desired outcome of our education. Teachers have a great role to play paving the path to make student perceive the inner reality.

What is the nature of education and training need to be given to student to realise the inner reality??? Make him understand that education is not about following a book , but imparting true facts of life. Make student understand that Books come with a baggage of per-conceived notions of the writer and every book can not be truth in itself.

A student must understand that following a Book will make him a mere follower and never a 'originator' . When he challenge the truth alone will take him to the way of imparting the knowledge. Book he/she reads should just be a launching pad to take a plunge towards knowing the truth. Knowledge is not in the Book but in Life we lead and it need continuous efforts to tap it.

Training of mind to acquire knowledge is not same as memorising the content of the syllabus . Training of mind should be used to study the logic not just to by-heart the content. But the modern education system has now got institutionalised . It now gives important to Book and its content rather than training the mind to justify opinion from justified belief.

Book must be used as first step in long journey of Knowledge. We need not deduct the authors experiences stored in a book but see it as a sojourn and continue further on ones own exploration. Books are our primary source of gaining knowledge , but that itself is not the entire knowledge.

Integral Education - Part-I

Sri Krishna tells Arjuna in the 13th chapter of Bhagwad Geeta 11th sloka :

Adhyatma-jnana-nityatvam
tattva-jnanartha-darsanam
Etaj jnanam iti proktam
ajnanam yad ato nyatha

(Constant application to the study of spiritual texts and practice of discipline and clear aim of the goal of enlightenment and destiny of man- all these constitute knowledge, everything else is ignorance)

The main aim of the education should be training of mind as an instrument of imparting knowledge and not simply to sight the lust of materialism . Does our modern education guarantees 'character' , 'social outlook' ?? Does our education stress on development of mind towards collective consciousness of uplifting Humankind ?? Does current education aggrandize wisdom?? We all know the answer, an affirmative NO. Is it not right time to ponder upon alternative model and sow the seeds of Integral Education ??

My friend Ravi.V used to talk of Integral Education. I never understood his botheration on such subject in to-days education system, where it has become a money making Industry. Aurobindo Society and Pragna Bharati held few training sessions for school teachers on "Integral Education" . I accompanied Ravi to few of them. These sessions made me believe that Education is not just about knowledge gaining but more about imbibing discipline and focusing on lasting values.

Ask youngsters what he or she like to become and they would reply saying anything that guarantee them a great future in terms of making money in shortest time. GenNxt was never made to understand the holistic concept that education is more about gaining knowledge to be union with Humanity rather means towards making money.

In this context perhaps it would be appropriate to evaluate the worth and utility of money or its potential in as much as the inducement to education is focused on more money in the shortest time as mentioned above.

I studied Business Management from Bhavan's college. In one of Bhavan's journal it published the following lines :

money can buy a bed, but not sleep
money can buy books, but not knowledge
money can buy fruits but not sweetness
