It's good to see celebrities come forward and tell people about the goodness of the Gurukul way of education. It helps spread the awareness about those roots which should be restored in our social lives, in all their glory.

Actress Sonali Bendre says imparting education and values is not only the duty of schools as parents should also try and inculcate them through vedic teachings.

"We cannot put all the onus onto schools. What are the parents doing? There has to be some responsibilities that parents have to take. It is not that you send your children to the factory (school) and the final product comes out - that's not going to happen," Sonali said.

She believes with the culture of nuclear families coming in, children are losing the connect with the culture which sustained in joint families.

"In Gurukul system there was a holistic approach to impart education. The holistic way of upbringing was not just to impart education but also the concept of Dharma as enunciated in Vedic literature. In our joint family system that space was filled by grandparents, but we are now moving more and more to nuclear family. So it is something that the parents have to take on the responsibility of imparting Vedic teachings at house."

Relevance of coalition government's - 1

It is now being trotted out , very vociferously by the media and other entities of Political arena that the era of coalition governments has come to stay in our polity, where political parties swearing in the name of different ideologies while making a common cause in the name of 'Secularism' will take the center stage of governance hereafter.

It is also being made out that the walking in & out of such an arrangement of coalition by parties who identify themselves with the panacea of 'Secularism' now and then, being unable to pull together and yet supporting such a coalition either from inside or from outside.

In Juxtaposition to the said pattern of coalition, the political party which is branded as communal outfit and non-secular , which makes 'Hindutva' the chore of its political ideology, constitutes the other segment and which believes that as a cohesive unit it can offer a better alternative of governance and that a notch potch arrangements of a coalition with hate for 80% of populations religious beliefs can not ensure good governance much less stability.

In between , the Regional parties, some of whom, infact do not subscribe to any ideology as such, except Regionalism, have also come to occupy a prominent place in the political scenario .

It is also sought to be projected that the people of this country have deliberately given the mandate for a coalition keeping in view the heterogeneous state of things. At the outset there appears to be inherent contradiction if not a fallacy in the entire argument . There is a deliberate attempt by the vested interests to wean away the people from a definitive attitude by distorting the perspective.

Male chauvinism and Feminism are both harmful for harmonious existence of family system . The art of Male & Female relationship should not be weighed under the equal rights nor on economic freedom of Women. Where as Mutual understanding , dignity and responsibility will alone save the gender conflict that we often see among newly wedded couples. Strengthen ones relationship with trust and reciprocate the feeling, this alone will save the family system.

Bharateeya women especially the younger ones are in dilemma whether to follow the fashionable inherently failing Western model or the subtle but silently succeeding Bharateeya model. Often, Women are carried away by vociferous advocated of womens Lib's, now find themselves at cross roads - whether to earn for Rights or earn Reverence , whether to be Liberated or to be Venerated.

The sacred bond of Man & Woman has come under considerable strain bringing its wake, several aberrations. Along with class conflict, caste prejudice, communal bigotry, we have gender war going on . There is male chauvinism, now encountered by female chauvinism.

The pious relationship has been subjected to an un-healthy debate verging on vulgarity, to say the least. involved. The Media and pseudo social reformers are having a hayday inciting one against the other with no personal stakes

Not all Women are innocent, Not all Men are violent. The Gender war is not in the interest of Family. The gender equality can be addressed through traditional family values prevalent to changes by the present social condition. Mother Nature has defined the roles for men & women, let abide by it with current societal changes. One has to remember that it’s the Family that holds the society, if family is tampered upon with brutal assault of gender liberation then there might not be any society nor any values. Let not our intelligence get clouded in Male or Female chauvinism. May good sense prevail and harmony in families flourish.

ఇంకొక అద్భుతమైన విషయం ఏమిటంటే మన పూర్వీకులకు ప్రపంచ భూగోళ శాస్త్రం గురించి బాగా తెలుసు.
మనం గమనించాల్సింది ఇంకొకటి ఉంది. అప్పుడు చాలా వరకు దక్షిణ అమెరికా ఖండం, ఆఫ్రికా ఖండంలొ దక్షిణ భాగంలో సగం, మరియూ ఆస్ట్రేలియా మొత్తం నీటి కింద ఉండేవి. ఇంకొకవైపు ఇప్పుడు అట్లాంటిక్ మహా సముద్రం, పసిఫిక్ మహాసముద్రం, ఆర్కిటిక్ మహాసముద్రం గా పిలవబడేవి సముద్ర మట్టానికి పైన ఉండేవి.

దీన్ని బట్టి నిరూపితమైనది ఏమిటంటే వైదిక సంస్కృతి కేవలం 5000 సంవత్సరాల క్రితమే పుట్టిందని, కురుక్షేత్రం కేవలం కొన్ని సంవత్సరాల క్రితం జరిగిందని చెప్పేవారివి తప్పుడు ప్రచారాలు మరియు పచ్చి అబద్ధాలు. ఆస్ట్రేలియా నీటి కింద ఉన్నపుడే వైదిక నాగరికత ఉంది. దీన్ని బట్టి అర్థం చేసుకోవచ్చు మనది ఎంత పురాతనమైన నాగరికత అని !

మనల్ని దిగ్బ్రాంతికి గురిచేసే విషయం ఏమిటంటే మన ప్రభుత్వం ఇంకా మన పాఠ్య పుస్తకాలలో ఇటువంతి అబద్ధపు సిద్ధాంతాలను, భారత దేశానికి వ్యతిరేకంగా, భారత దేశాన్ని/భారతీయులను తక్కువచేసి చూపించే తప్పుడు చరిత్రను భోదిస్తుంది. మన ప్రభుత్వం దేశ యువతకు మన పూర్వికులు పామరులు/ఏమి తెలియని వాళ్ళు అని భోదిస్తుంది. దేశ భక్తులు కనుగొన్న నిజమైన చరిత్రను భోదించడం లేదు.

మన పాఠ్య పుస్తకాలలో మన ఋషుల గురించి పెట్టాలి అనే ప్రతిపాదన తెచ్చినపుడు కొన్ని కుహానా లౌకికవాద పార్టీలు(Pseudo secular political parties) విద్యావ్యవస్థను కాషాయమయం(Saffronisation) చేయొద్దని తిరస్కరించాయి.  వోటు బ్యాంకు కొసం తమ సొంత దేశం యొక్క గొప్పతనాన్ని తిరస్కరించి మన పూర్వీకులను మనమే చిన్నచూపు చూసే దేశం ఎదైనా ఉంటుందా? ఏం మన ఋషులు భారతీయులు కాదా? వారి గురించి మన పాఠ్య పుస్తకాలలో ఎందుకు ఉండకూడదు?

Integral Education - Part III Swami Vivekananda education concept is need of the hour.

Vidya dadati vinayam,
vinaya dadati paatrataam,
paatratva dhanamaapnoti,
dhanaat dharmam tatatsukham.

(Education gives humility,
humility gives Character,
from character one gets wealth,
from wealth one gets righteousness,
in righteousness there is joy.)

Nowadays there is a good deal of talk about 'values' and 'value education'. In India the terms 'values' is most commonly used in the sense of 'virtues' or 'morals'. Since morals are associated with religion, many educationists want to avoid the use of the terms moral and virtues and replace it with the word"value'.

The important point to note here is that any change in education becomes effective only if it is rooted in realisation of student. Simply introducing some 'values' into the curriculum and making students to learn it for exams will not be effective. Without an orientation, values will also remain nothing more than code of conduct which student might not follow in private life

In the first place values or virtue should not be followed out of fear or compulsion . Student must be made to understand that the path of virtue he has to take will make him an 'Ultimate Human Being'. When a student links values he learn to his true nature then his life becomes real and authentic. Value education should be inculcated in real life. If student fail to imbibe virtue to his own nature then entire exercise might end up as an mere show off to the expectations of others.

Islamisation of Telangana by Nizam supporter KCR

It was 12:30 Midnight and i was still awake coz Muslims are conducting religious meeting using horn mic's at this hour in my neighbourhood. FYI I live in new city of Hyderabad .


I called Police control room around 10:45 PM and raised the complaint . Police Officer after understanding its complaint against Muslims tells me that its falls under "Sound Pollution" and I shud call them ONLY after 11:00 PM.

I called after 11:00 PM and raised the complaint of high sound pollution again, he has no other option to avoid me , told me they will look into my complaint.

Later Police officer called me around 11:40 and tries to convince me that they (Police) can not stop Muslin meetings coz as it will take communal angle. He was trying to convince me that Muslims will not listen and easily gets provoked and I shudnt force them to stop this midnight Muslim religious  meeting.

I asked the Police Officer then why do you close down Ganesh Mandaps around 10:00 PM and allow Muslims to use horn mics even after midnight and disturb Hindu neighbourhood.

These Midnight meetings earlier were common ONLY in HYD old city where Muslims were in big number. But after KCR has become Chief Minister , the Islamic fanaticism has spread to HYD new city . The fear of Muslims in Telangana is such that even Police are scared to handle them. This is the price we Hindus have to pay for voting KCR.

Telangana  fastly becoming highly Islamised state in India , coz of unprecedented support they get from KCR.

రంజాన్ మాసంలో నిజమైన ధనిక ముస్లింలు నిరుపేద ముస్లింలను ఇంటికి పిలిచి రకరకాల వంటకాలతో వారి ఆకలిని తీర్చి వారికి కూడా పండుగ అనుభూతిని కల్పించడం ఇఫ్తార్ విందుల సారాంశం అది ముస్లిం మత ఆచారం.

పొలిసు కమిషనర్ గారు వ్యక్తిగతంగా నిజమైన నిరుపేద ముస్లింలకు ఇఫ్తార్ విందు ఇచ్చివుంటే హర్షించేవారము కానీ హైదరాబాద్ నగర్ పొలిసు విభాగం ద్వార అధికారికంగా ఒక మతపరమైన కార్యక్రమాన్ని నిర్వహించడం ఎంతవరకు సమంజసం ? పొలిసు కమిషనర్ గారు రాజకీయ నాయకుల వలె ప్రవర్తించడం వ్యవస్థపై వున్న గౌరవానికి మచ్చ కాదా ? ప్రభుత్వ నిధుల నుండి ఈ రకంగా మతపరమైన విందులు ఇచ్చే అధికారం పొలిసు కమిషనర్ గారికి వుందా ? వుంటే మెజారిటీ ప్రజలైన హిందువులు జరుపుకొనే పండగలకు ఎందుకు కార్యక్రమాలు ఏర్పాటు చేయరు ?

నగరంలో ఎంతో ప్రతిష్టాత్మకంగా జరిగే బొనాలలొ కానీ గణేష్ ఉత్సవాలలో కానీ కాషాయపు టోపీ దరించి నుదిట కుంకుమ తిలకం పెట్టుకోవడానికి వీరికి అడ్డువచ్చే సెక్యులరిజం ఇప్పుడేమైంది ?

అన్ని మతాలను సమదృష్టితో చూడటమే నిజమైన సెక్యులరిజం అని చెబుతుంది మన రాజ్యాంగం ,మన రాజకీయ నాయకులు ఓట్ల వేటలో ఎప్పుడో దాని అర్థాన్ని మార్చివేశారు ,రాజ్యాంగ పరిరక్షణకై లాటీలు పట్టిన పోలీసులు నిజమైన స్పూర్తికి విరుద్దంగా ప్రవర్తిస్తే దేశం మరోసారి భారి మూల్యం చెల్లించుకోవాల్సి వస్తుంది . పౌర సమాజం కూడా నిర్భయంగా ఇలాంటి పోకడలను ప్రశ్నించాలి అప్పుడే ఎవరి హద్దుల్లో వారు వుంటారు.

Celestial beings in Hindu Dharm

((Mahadevas:))
Mahadevas are the main gods of Hinduism including their avatars. Lord Shiva is known as Mahadeva. All beings except the Mahadevas were created by Lord Brahma.

((Devas: ))
Devas are the good celestial beings similar to angels. They live in the kingdom of heaven which is ruled by Dheva Raja Indra. They are under the protection of the Mahadevas.

((Asuras: ))
Asuras are the wicked and rebellious celestial beings, similar to the Fallen Angels. They live under feudal rules of different Asura kings. They are sworn enemies of the Devas and tried several times to conquer the kingdom of heaven, but without success.

((Suras)):
Suras are chivalrous and warlike celestial beings. They are considered sons of the sun god Surya and embody the sunbeam. The king Rajendra Chola called once himself the brightest shining Sura of the Suryavamsa.

((Yakshas:))
Yakshas, are nature spirits and their king is the prosperity god Kubera. Yakshas can be divided between good and evil Yakshas. Evil Yakshas live on trees and attack people who wander in the forest.

((Nagas:))
Nagas are snake people and their king is the Nagaraja Vasuki. Nagas are sworn enemies of the Garudas.

((Garudas:))
The Garudas are eagle people. The mount of Lord Vishnu is a Garuda. Garuda and Naga culture is widespread in South Asia and Southeast Asia.

((Vanaras:))
The Vanaras are Monkey people. The most famous Vanara is the deity Hanuman. Vanaras living in Vana (forest) Kingdom.

((Rakshasas:))
Rakshasas are demons or ogres and embody the evil. They work with the Asuras against the Devas and humans. The Rakshasa power increase at night.

((Humans and Animals: ))
Humans and Animals are mortal beings living on earth. They are neutral nature.

((Matsyas:))
Matsyas are sea people and their king is the Samudra Raja Varuna. They are represented as half human and half fish.

((Pishachas:))
Pishachas, are Undead beings that feed on blood and flesh of mortal beings. Pisashas is used as a term for ghosts and vampires.

((Apsaras:))
Apsaras are beautiful celestial nymphs and talented dancers.

((Gandharvas:))
Gandharvas are heavenly beings and talented musicians. Gandharvas and Apsaras are responsible for the entertainment in the kingdom of heaven

Integral Education Part II - Does book guarentee wisdom ?

न चोरहार्यं न च राजहार्यं न भ्रातृभ्राज्यं न च भारकारि।
व्यये कृते वर्धत एव नित्यं विद्याधनं सर्वधनप्रधानम्॥

( Knowledge cannot be stolen by a thief.
It cannot taken away by a King.
It cannot be divided among brothers.
It does not cause load. It always increases when spent.
The wealth of knowledge is the greatest of all wealths. )

Knowledge can not be acquired by just reading Books.

It goes without saying that the teachers are the influential catalysts in the field of education. Life is note mere materialism , there is ultimate reality in us. To make student realise and manifest the inner reality should be the desired outcome of our education. Teachers have a great role to play paving the path to make student perceive the inner reality.

What is the nature of education and training need to be given to student to realise the inner reality??? Make him understand that education is not about following a book , but imparting true facts of life. Make student understand that Books come with a baggage of per-conceived notions of the writer and every book can not be truth in itself.

A student must understand that following a Book will make him a mere follower and never a 'originator' . When he challenge the truth alone will take him to the way of imparting the knowledge. Book he/she reads should just be a launching pad to take a plunge towards knowing the truth. Knowledge is not in the Book but in Life we lead and it need continuous efforts to tap it.

Training of mind to acquire knowledge is not same as memorising the content of the syllabus . Training of mind should be used to study the logic not just to by-heart the content. But the modern education system has now got institutionalised . It now gives important to Book and its content rather than training the mind to justify opinion from justified belief.

Book must be used as first step in long journey of Knowledge. We need not deduct the authors experiences stored in a book but see it as a sojourn and continue further on ones own exploration. Books are our primary source of gaining knowledge , but that itself is not the entire knowledge.

Integral Education - Part-I

Sri Krishna tells Arjuna in the 13th chapter of Bhagwad Geeta 11th sloka :

Adhyatma-jnana-nityatvam
tattva-jnanartha-darsanam
Etaj jnanam iti proktam
ajnanam yad ato nyatha

(Constant application to the study of spiritual texts and practice of discipline and clear aim of the goal of enlightenment and destiny of man- all these constitute knowledge, everything else is ignorance)

The main aim of the education should be training of mind as an instrument of imparting knowledge and not simply to sight the lust of materialism . Does our modern education guarantees 'character' , 'social outlook' ?? Does our education stress on development of mind towards collective consciousness of uplifting Humankind ?? Does current education aggrandize wisdom?? We all know the answer, an affirmative NO. Is it not right time to ponder upon alternative model and sow the seeds of Integral Education ??

My friend Ravi.V used to talk of Integral Education. I never understood his botheration on such subject in to-days education system, where it has become a money making Industry. Aurobindo Society and Pragna Bharati held few training sessions for school teachers on "Integral Education" . I accompanied Ravi to few of them. These sessions made me believe that Education is not just about knowledge gaining but more about imbibing discipline and focusing on lasting values.

Ask youngsters what he or she like to become and they would reply saying anything that guarantee them a great future in terms of making money in shortest time. GenNxt was never made to understand the holistic concept that education is more about gaining knowledge to be union with Humanity rather means towards making money.

In this context perhaps it would be appropriate to evaluate the worth and utility of money or its potential in as much as the inducement to education is focused on more money in the shortest time as mentioned above.

I studied Business Management from Bhavan's college. In one of Bhavan's journal it published the following lines :

money can buy a bed, but not sleep
money can buy books, but not knowledge
money can buy fruits but not sweetness

Bhu Devi , Please do not forsake us, save us from earthquake's

O' Mother, on this earth you have many good sons and daughters but out of all these I am the most bad child of yours,  O' Goddess, you have forsaken me because I have not concentrated on you, this is not reasonable, Because a son can be bad, however, it is not in the Mother's nature to be bad.

Bhu Devi Lurch again , result is yet another earthquake in Nepal and Bihar two days back resulting nearly 100 deaths. This is gonna happen until we Human's realise the nature of Mother Earth, Bhu Devi. Pay respects to her as you do it with other Gods & Goddesses .

Remember Bhu Devi is personification of Goddess Lakshmi and married to Lord Vishnu ( Varhara). She along with Goddess Lakshmi resides on the chest of Lord Venkateshwara in Tirumala. We try to please Lakshmi mata for wealth and prosperity but ignore Bhu Devi whom we stomp upon. Bhu Devi who carries us, beholds us and tranform all our sin, garbage, dirt into pure is least recognised.

For how long Bhu Devi will allow us to tamper with her own existence? Lets be more responsible and sensitive towards Mother Earth. Lets be conscious of the fact that she is our Mother and we Her children. Lets not cut trees unnecessarily or pollute her with effluents/industry waste/non bio-degradable. Lets try to maintain equilibrium of Nature. Stop digging earth unnecessarily to pave way for concrete jungle.

We Humans should realise that we dont own nor creators of Mother Earth and all other living/non living beings do have equal right over Bhoomi. We Humans are insignificant in this marvelous divine creation. Remember She is the source of our existence not vice versa.

We are so pre-occupied in procuring wealth to give it to our descendants but in the process we forget that we have only one planet "Bhoomi" to live upon.

Did you ever notice a Indian Classical Dancer before his/her performance touches the ground with his/her hands and ask for forgiveness for stomping the feet on her . Lets consummate the same sensitivity by invoking ( and understanding) the below Prayer

"Samudra vasane devi parvata stana mandale
Vishnu patni namastubhyam paadasparsham kshamasvame"

O' Bhu Devi, who has the Ocean as Her garments and Mountains as Her breasts, who is the consort of Sri Vishnu, I bow to You. Please forgive us for touching You with our feet.

Hundreds of Swayamsevaks under Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh, Nepal ( Partner Organisation) are working relentlessly at Ground Zero in Nepal. They have fanned out even into remote villages. For last 4 days they were providing food, water and clearing debris.

Swayamsevaks & VHP have decided to adopt the Nepalese children who got orphaned due to earth quake . Such kids will be brought to India and get admitted in Residential schools run by Seva Bharati & VHP. Further pledged to re-build the houses and temples in Nepal.

Sewa International ( Sewa USA) has set a target of raising a minimum of $1 million for this cause. Thus far, have collected $100,000 through online and checks. SewaUSA have pledges of an additional $250,000.

Seva Bharati : Help Nepal Earthquake victims.

Sewa-Bharati & RSS swayamsevaks are on the ground in Kathmandu and affected villages in rescue and relief operations supporting the Nepalese police and paramedics. The Seva volunteers are forming co-ordination committees to work with all those working on the ground.

Swayamsevaks are providing drinking water, food packets, clothes, temporary shelter, medicines for the needy.

Sewa-USA has committed 10,000 USD for Nepal EarthQuake relief operations and more help is reaching from all over India to worst affected region of earth quake.

Importance of Mangal Sutra for Hindu Women.

Few days back few Atheists/Feminists have conducted an a event to remove Mangalsutras to prove they are liberated and modern woman. No one shud object if it is their personal and private choice , but conducting it publicly is deliberate attack on Hindu rituals. Below is the Telugu compilation from various sources. మాంగల్యం తంతునానేనా మమజీవన హేతునా! కంఠే భద్నామి సుభగే త్వం జీవ శరదాం శతం!!
Meaning: " ఓ ప్రియ ! ఈ మంగళ సూత్రాన్ని, నీ మెడలో కడుతున్నాను. ఇది సౌభాగ్యాన్ని కలిగిస్తుంది. నా జీవితం దీనిపైనే ఆధారపడి వుంది. నీవు శతాయుర్ధాయం కలదానివిగా వుండు"

హిందూ వివాహ తంతులో మాంగల్యధారణే అతి ప్రధానమైనది. మాంగల్యానికే మంగళసూత్రం. సంస్కృతంలో 'మంగళ' అంటే శోభాయమానం, శుభప్రదం అనే అర్ధాలు కలవు. మంగళ సూత్రము భార్యా భర్తల శాశ్వత నుభంధానికి గుర్తు. అది వైవాహిక జీవితాన్ని సమస్త కీడులనుండి తొలగిస్తుందని హిందువుల నమ్మకం.శక్తి స్వరూపిణి అయిన స్త్రీ మెడలో మంగళ సూత్రము భర్త ఆయుషు కు ప్రతిక అని హిందువులు నమ్ముతారు.

అబ్బాయి త్రిమూర్తులు ( బ్రహ్మ, విష్ణు, శివుడు) ఏ విదంగా ఐతే వారి వారి జంటలుగా సృష్టి జరిపారో వారి లాగానే తాను కూడా ఎటువంటి బేదం లేకుండా అంటే బర్త అన్న అహంకారం కాని గర్వం లేకుండా బార్య ను తన లో ఒక్క భాగంగా స్వీకరిస్తాను అని అగ్ని, దేవి - దేవతలా సాక్షి గ ప్రమాణం చేస్తాడు.

మంగళసూత్రంలో ముత్యం,పగడం ధరింపజేసే సాంప్రదాయం మనది. భారతీయ సాంప్రదాయ స్త్రీలకు మంగళసూత్రములో ముత్యం మించిన విలువైనది లేనేలేదు, దానికి తోడు జాతిపగడం ధరించడం మన మహర్షులు చెప్పటంలో విశేష గూడార్ధమున్నది, అదేమిటంటే

ముత్యం పగడం ధరించిన పాతతరరం స్త్రీలలో ఆపరేషన్ అనేది అప్పట్లో చాలా అరుదైన విషయం, కాని నేటితరం స్త్రీలలో కానుపు ఆపరేషన్ లేనిదే జరగటం సర్వసాధారణమైపోయినది.ముత్యం, పగడం సూర్యుని నుండి వచ్చే కిరణాలలోనుండే ఎరుపు(కుజుడు)తెలుపు (చంద్రుడు) స్వీకరించి స్త్రీ భాగంలోని అన్ని నాడీకేంద్రములను ఉత్తేజపరచి శరీరకంగా, భౌతికంగా ఆ జంటగ్రహాలు స్త్రీలలో వచ్చే నష్టాలను,దోషాలను తోలిగిస్తాయి అన్ హిందువుల నమ్మకం .

కనుక చంద్ర కుజుల కలయిక ప్రతి స్త్రీ జీవితంలో ఎంత ప్రాముఖ్యం వహిస్తాయో అలాగే ముత్యం,పగడం రెండూకూడా కలిపిన మంగళసూత్రం స్త్రీకి అత్యంతశుభపలితాలు సమకూర్చగలవు.మరొక విషయమేమిటంటే శుక్రుడు వివాహకారకుడు మాత్రమే, కాని సంసారిక జీవితాన్ని నడిపేవాడు కుజుడేనన్న మాట మరువకూడదు, అందుకే తొలుతగా కుజదోషం ఉన్నదా లేదా అని చూస్తారు.
ప్రతి స్త్రీ జీవితంలో ఈ పై చెప్పబడిన మూడు గ్రహాలు వాటి స్థితిగతులు బాగుంటే యిక జీవితం ఆనందమయమే.

Satyam Ramalinga Raju deserves capital punishment.

Judgement on Satyam Computers Scam is out , main kingpin Ramalinga Raju was sentenced 7 years in jail and Rs 5 crore as fine. Iam not happy at all with the judgement , Ramalinga Raju should have been awarded capital punishment if not atleast life imprisonment. He played with the lives of employees and investors . He tarnished the image of country. Hereafter all Economic offenses should be treated as Criminal offenses.

With due respect to Honourable Judge who delivered the judgement , wanna bring to his kind notice that such judgements might encourage others to commit more heinous economic frauds. What did Ramalinga Raju lost ?? Not much. He swindled Rs 7160 Crore public money and got just 7 years jail. Simple Math tells its Rs 1000 Cr for his family for 1 year of his Jail. Profitable.  Anybody would be happy to be in Jail if his family gets 1000s of Crore.

Now you know , how Bharat Varsh once Viswa-Guru and richest in the World has turned into poorest country. We always blame Politicians for corruption and forget these greedy entrepreneurs Ramalinga Raju , Deccan Chronicle Venkat Reddy or Kingfisher  Vijay Mallya. Their crime is no lesser than sabotaging the interest of Country. Hence , such chicanery should be treated as act of anti-National.

Same case that of Satyam Computers in a country like USA , the punishment would have been atleast 2 Life imprisonments. Where in India its just 7 years & Rs 5 Cr fine. Ramalinga Raju has played with the lives of atleast 52000 employees , 20000 stock investors . He risked their lives , punishment should have been multiple life imprisonment and all the properties of his family confiscated and nationalised. Such act would check the greed of other Ramalinga Raju's who are still wandering outside.

Now the big Question to ponder upon is , How good is our Indian Judiciary system ???

దైర్య సాహసాలు ప్రదర్శించిన తెలంగాణా పోలీసులకు జై జై లు !!!

తెలంగాణా లో దాడి కి తెగబడిన ముస్లిం టెర్రరిస్ట్ లను మన పోలీసులు వీరోచితంగా పోరాడి మట్టుబెట్టారు . తెలంగాణా పోలీసులకు తమ ప్రాణాలను సైతం పణంగా పెట్టి ముస్లిం ముశ్కరలను ధైర్యంగా ఎదురు నిలిచారు . అట్టి ధైర్య సాహసాలు ప్రదర్శిస్తూ నాగరాజు అను పోలీసు కనీస్తేబుల్ వీర మరణము పొందాడు , మరో అధికారి సిద్దయ్య మృత్యు తో పోరాడుతున్నాడు , రామన్నపేట సీఐ బాలగంగిరెడ్డి కూడా గాయపడ్డారు.

ఇంతటి ధైర్య సాహసాలను చూపించిన ఈ పోలీసు అధికారులను తెలంగాణా ప్రజలు తమ గుండె లో పెట్టుకొని పూజించుకుంటారు . ప్రజల రక్షణ కోసము అసువులు బాసిన కనీస్తేబుల్ నాగరాజు ను సదా స్మరించు కుంటారు . ఈ వీరుల త్యాగం వృధా కాదు , వారి గాయం నుండి గారిన ప్రతి రక్తపు బొట్టు మాకు స్పూర్తి గ నిల్చుతుంది .

నాగరాజు ను కన్న ఆ వీర మాత కు యావత్తు తెలంగాణా రుణ పది ఉంటది , అతి చిన్న ప్రాయములో భర్త ను కొలిపోయిన నాగరాజు శ్రీమతి కి మా ప్రగాడ సంతాపం . నాలుగు కోట్ల తెలంగాణా ప్రజలు ఈ రోజు ఒక్క తాటి ఫై వచ్చి వీరి ధైర్య సాహసాలను కీర్తిస్తున్నారు .

ఇక నైన తెలంగాణా ప్రజలు నిద్ర మత్తు వదలాలి , ముస్లిం ఉగ్రవాద ప్రమాదాన్ని గుర్తించాలి, జాగృతం కావాలి , ఇస్లాం తీవ్రవాదాన్ని ఆన్చడం లో పోలీసులకు తోడ్పాటు ఇవ్వాలి .

Rape : Is media fighting for the solution or sensationalising it for its TRP?

The way media is showcasing Rapes , at times, i feel they are giving a cosmetic face lift. Are Rapes only crime women face?  Is media fighting for the solution or sensationalising it for its  own bemefit? For how long Media will instigate Gender conflict in the society ? 95% of Rapes in India , the perpetrators are father/relatives/neighbors etc .... only 5% are unknown persons. Thats one statistics . The other statistic ( though not recorded) says that most of the Rape cases are false alarms. When a woman get caught in pre-marital/extra-marital affair she raises false alarm of Rape to save herself. The fact is it was an consensual sex. The innocent man gets caught. Dimapur lynching episode is latest example of such consensual sex painted as rape .

Seva Bharati helping Scheduled Tribe students to find a livelihood. Seva Bharathi Nursing students get together meet in Hyderabad.

These students are from remote tribal villages of Khammam district, pursuing their nursing course at different colleges in Hyderabad like Appollo, Indo America, Gandhi and Osmaina. Seva Bharathi in association with Sri Narayana Rao of Vidya Mithra running this tribal youth empowerment seva project from past 4 years. Total 60 Tribal students getting benefited from 2011. Already 9 nursing trainees placed in multi specialty hospitals like Appollo, Indo America and Gandhi Hospital.

On Eve of Womens Day . కొమ్మ చెక్కితే బొమ్మ రా...కొలిచి మొక్కితే అమ్మ రా by Ande Sree

I'm not a great follower of Womens Day or any such days. But seeing few I know getting sentimental about "Womens Day" , I post this wonderful song కొమ్మ చెక్కితే బొమ్మ రా... కొలిచి మొక్కితే అమ్మ రా.Just focus on the Lyrics. Song is written by Ande Sri an Nandi Awardee resident of Warangal , Telangana.

There's an interesting story attached to this song "కొమ్మ చెక్కితే బొమ్మ రా...కొలిచి మొక్కితే అమ్మ రా " . My friend Lakshmana Chary once took Andey Sri to Medaram the holy shrine of great women warriors "Sammakka & Sarakka". Its an tribals holy shrine. Lakshmana Chary introduced Andey Sri to Tribal Woman Priest of the Temple and asked her to give Garland as blessing. Woman Chief Priest for some unknown reasons got miffed and she refused.

Both Chary & Ande Sri walked a distance and sat on floor. Knowing Andey Sri poetry skills Chary asked him to sing a song in honour of tribal deities , Ande Sri sang "కొమ్మ చెక్కితే బొమ్మ రా...కొలిచి మొక్కితే అమ్మ రా " . Iam told by Chary that he sang so emotionally that he felt the vibrations across the Medaram temple. The result is Woman Chief Priest who refused earlier , took out the Garland from main idol rushed to put it on Andey Sri and apologised.

Woman Chief Priest of tribal shrine who refused earlier was so moved to song that much against the ritual went on to bless Ande Sri by honouring him inside the sancta-sanctorum.


Brief Intro of Andey Sri : Andey Sri never went to school he is an illiterate yet writes beautiful poetry, Goddess Saraswati resides on his tongue. He is an orphan and a Dalit , his mother discarded him after his birth for unknown reasons.  Former president of Viswa-Hindu-Parishad (VHP) and Telugu Head Of Dept Osmania University Biruduraju Rama Raju of Madikonda village groomed Ande sri. Andey Sri considers himself a foster son of Mr Rama Raju.

Film : ENEMY & Gone Girl.

Watched "Gone Girl " & "Enemy" ... tell me if you understood the climax. Slow but watchable . Both are thrillers. For sure the climax will keep troubling you for days to come.

"Enemy" is a must watch film , its very hard to keep the track of the events , wonderful psycho-thriller which will keep you engrossed, but at the same times confuse you. It narrates about male psychology and his never ending amatory relationships. Due to his uncontrollable libidinous nature he creates a Enemy.

I bet , if any one of you can narrate the climax of the film. ENEMY is one such psychological thriller which does not answer anything even in the end . It raises more questions in the last scene of the film. Enemy is one and only film whose storyline can be interpreted in 10 different ways. At times you feel as if its an art film with Zero commercial element.

Note : Very slow film , Pl dont Fast-Forward while watching. Hardcore Telugu/Hindi films "First Day - First Show" goers, stay away , this film is not for you.

February 19 : Chhatrapati Shivaji Jayanti.

Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj founded the Hindu Kingdom  in the Deccan against all odds, fighting against the mighty Mughals. He inspired and united the masses to fight the tyranny of Mughal ruler Aurangzeb, by inculcating a sense of pride and nationality in them. Shivaji Maharaj successfully led and marshalled his forces to cope and overcome several major enemy invasions of his territories. He was also relentless in expand-ing his Kingdom's boundaries.

At the age of 16, he took a pledge to establish a sovereign Hindu state. He outshines all the Rulers and Generals of Bharat in the exemplary life he lived and is thus respected by the entire cross-section of Bharatiyas. He raised a strong army and navy, constructed and repaired forts, used guerrilla warfare tactics, developed a strong intelligence network and functioned like a seasoned Statesman and General. He introduced systems in revenue collection and warned the officials against harassment of subjects. In his private life, his moral virtues were exceptionally high. His thoughts and deeds were inspired by the teachings of his mother Jijabai, and great Saints like Dnyaneshwar & Tukaram and the valiancy and ideals of the Lord Ram and Lord Krishna. He was blessed and guided by his Guru, Samarth Ramdas Swami. He was also an ardent devotee of Goddess Bhavani.

He always showed respect, defended and protected Holy men and places of worship of all religions. He allowed his subjects freedom of religion and opposed forced conversions. Shivaji Maharaj is well known for his benevolent attitude towards his subjects. He believed that there was a close bond between the state and the citizens. He encouraged all socio-economic groups to participate in the ongoing political/military struggle. The Kingdom established by Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj known as 'Hindavi Swarajya' (Sovereign Hindu state) spread beyond Attock in Northwest Bharat (now in Pakistan) and beyond Cuttack in East Bharat in due course, to become the strongest power in Bharat.

The history of Bharat is incomplete without the history of the Marathas and Shivaji Maharaj is the nucleus of Maratha history. Shivaji Maharaj has been a source of inspiration and pride to the past generations and will continue to inspire generat-ions in the future too. We pay our obeisance to this great Hindu King on his birth anniversary, which falls on 19th February.
